There are a range of activities you can be involved with such as providing mentoring support, work experience opportunities (challenges, internships, graduate roles) or  insight talks.

Benefits for you

Access to talented Black women for internship and graduate roles

Greater understanding of the current situation for students and a rewarding opportunity to see them excel through the mentor's knowledge

Expansion of brand awareness and supporting the long term vision of making tech roles accessible to all

Recruitment process

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

1.

Application form - this allows us to understand why the student is applying and the level of support they need.

2.

Interview - this is an opportunity for us to learn more about the student’s motivations and to answer any questions they might have with a 20 minute phone call.

If successful at both stages, students are onboarded as a member of Generating Genius and we will inform them of upcoming opportunities to get involved with our Black Women Into Tech Programme.

Process for employer partners

1. Meeting with Generating Genius - we'd value your time to explain more about our programme and confirm a timeline of activities with you.

2. Delivery of partnership - once we have agreed a course of action, we will have regular updates with you to ensure we provide a service that benefits you and our students.
